The King of the Beats: A Documentary about Jack Kerouac
Time: 2:00pm
Location: O’Leary Library, Room 222 (Auditorium), South Campus, UMass Lowell
Followed by Q & A with director John Antonelli. $5 donation suggested to help defray event costs.

Kerouac memorial walk
Time: 4:00pm
Location: Franco-American School, 357 Pawtucket St.
Kerouac memorial walk past important Kerouac sites starting at the Grotto behind the Franco-American School, 357 Pawtucket St. Stops and readings will be at the funeral home, church, a school, and library tied to Kerouac’s life and death, as well as the old Moody Street Bridge made famous in his Dr. Sax novel and soon to be demolished.

Waking Jack! Kerouac Wake
Time: 6:00pm
Location: Old Worthen Tavern, 141 Worthen St.
Waking Jack! Kerouac Wake at the Old Worthen Tavern upstairs room with music, readings, and poems. Celebrating the spontaneous spirit of Kerouac. A small buffet of foods will be provided. $5 donation suggested.
