Beat Generation Book Signings

The world premiere of Jack Kerouac's play, Beat Generation, runs from 10 to 14 October at the Merrimack Repertory Theatre in Lowell. (Get your act together--looks like tickets are getting closer to selling out.) In conjunction with that, there are book signings scheduled with three witnesses from Jack's time.

Hotel rooms for the Jack Kerouac Literary Festival

LCK will have a block of rooms reserved at the Courtyard Marriott in Lowell for the Jack Kerouac Literary Festival. A 10% discount is available on two different sizes of rooms. There will be a block of 10 rooms for Friday and Saturday nights (12 and 13 October) and a block of three rooms for Thursday (11 October) and Sunday (14 October) nights. Reservations must be made by Thursday 20 September.

Merrimack Rep holding auditions for Beat Generation

Coming up in September: Merrimack Repertory Theatre will hold an open call for select roles in its one-week, eight-performance staged reading of Beat Generation by Jack Kerouac.

Kerouac Bobble Head Night: Lowell Spinners vs. Brooklyn Cyclones

On Tuesday 7 August, the Lowell Spinners play the Brooklyn Cyclones at LaLacheur Park in Lowell. The first 1,000 ticket holders (buy tickets online) through the gates will receive a Jack Kerouac Bobble Head. The Bobble Heads are designed to honor On the Road—featuring a bobbling thumb.
